I have a Fordson Dexta around early 1960 (I believe), the problem I have is the lift arms are not coming up high enough the lift my blade or mower of the ground more than 2-3 inches. I have tried with and without a load on the arms and there is only about 1" difference. I have also tried the lever on the side by the diff but still no difference except for the odd time when I move the lever up and down slowly and move the lift arm at the same time the arms will lift right up and hit the seat but won't stay there or anywhere in between. HELP PLEASE

I'm having a simular problem. Mine would lift only when I held the draft position controll about a 1/2" from the top. I had to keep pressure on it there to keep the item up. It finally quit working at all yesterday. I'm putting in the shop tomorrow. I'll let ya know what they say.

Hi there,

This is the exact same problem we are having. I have taken off the top cover, and there is a small pin worn. Not sure if that is it. I was going to try running it into the mechanics in the next little while. If you guys get any more info I would sure appreciate it.
