I'm seeking to find a manual for a gas ford dexta (1959).

Of particular interest to me are the sections dealing with the engine. All I know is that it is a 4-cyl gas.

Any ideas on what this engine is?

Ouvry,
Ford used the STANDARD Motor Co. 4 cylinder 130ci petrol motor in export Dextas. Standard made the old Triumph sports cars from the 1950's to 80's, eg TR1 to 8. The 35 & 135 fergy used this motor also.
Hope this helps.
Regards, Manny

You will have problems finding details of this tractor. Fordson did not admit that this tractor existed but it did. Try looking back through the ppast posts for Oscar's site. He has details and pictures of the Gas Dexta.

regards
Brian

According to my books they never made a gas dexta or a 4 cyl dexta. They were all 3 cyl diesel 1958-61 were 144 cubes and 1962-64 were 153 cubes they were super dextas.Try to find more info and post it.
