Well folks I am about ready to start on my Super Dexta rebuild and need help with these ser. numbers
The only numbers I can find are: 95E 700s 8 74 b 200
These numbers are located on the right hand side of the transmission by the brakes. Can anyone tell me what year this tractor is.I went to the link on the left of the discussion board was was not quite smart enough to figure out what year my tractor is

The serial number is stamped into the outwards-facing surface of the flange between the clutch housing and the gearbox on the right-hand side of the tractor (seen from the driver's seat).

Super Dexta serial numbers begin with 09 and then have a letter indicating the year. After this prefix comes a 6-digit number somewhere between 710530 and 928248. See my site for more detail, page Serial Numbers & Production Dates.

If your serial number has the prefix 957E then the clutch housing of your Super Dexta has been replaced with one from a Dexta (those parts are identical). In that case, the serial number will not tell you when your Super was made and you'll need to use the casting codes of the gearbox or the rear axle.

Super Dexta's were made from April '62 to September '64.

Chip:
Tractor serial number is stamped on left side of clutch housing flange and pre fixed by model number (number runs vertical). Engine serial number is stamped on left hand side of cylinder block. By the way I finally got a manual(FO-201) from Alma Tractor, I ordered it months ago but they forgot to call me. Ed R
