More Questions on Dexta Gearbox/Rear Axle Oil change

I have a similar issue to that experienced by Howard Neil where water has made it's way into the system and is now in the front-end loader hydraulic rams. (grey oil is leaking from the seal on one of the rams). I have also an extra complication where the 4 bolts holding the gearsticks to the gearbox casing have been loosened to allow removal of the gearsticks so that the gears can be manipulated manually as the tractor has an occasional habit of sticking in gear. Unfortuntely whilst overseas my tractor was left outside and I fear water has made it's way into the gearbox via these loosened bolts. It was my intention to change the oil in the rear axle to deal with the water in the hydraulics but it appears also that I may need to change the gearbox oil. My question is : are the gearbox and the rear axle separate entities in terms of their oil supply. ie - if I drain the oil as Oscar explained to Howard via the drain plug on the underside of the rear axle will that also drain the gearbox ? I note that there is a drainplug also under the gearbox slightly forward of the gearsticks. It may be that I have water in both the rear axle (containing the hydraulics) and the gearbox and thus need to change both. Any advice would be helpful
Thanks

Thanks Stephen

All done - the gearbox took approx 14 litres of oil and the rear-end took about 18 litres. I thought it would take more, especially with the loader. The gearbox oil was virtually white and the rear-end gray - definitely time to be changed. The rear-end top-up plug had been cross-threaded at some point in the past and this was also providing an entry point for water. Major water-sealing exercise now to be undertaken. Cheers

Sorry about the name spelling. I realised after I posted the reply.

Sounds like an expensive exercise if the other bolts alllow the oil to run from the rear axle. Thanks again

Yep
They are separate. You found the right drainplugs
There are level plugs for both. Rear end: small square nut just left of pto lever, gearbox: right side of gearbox a bit higer then the one on the rear end.
