Hello everybody,
I have an interesting problem with my FPM that even the local guru can not figure out. (Well he has only looked at it once.) My problem is the 3 point linkage hydraulics. (yet again) The problem is that they fall down slowly. I have checked the seal in the piston for the 3PL and this is OK. The reason I know this is because under a special circumstance the linkage stays up. I have a post rammer that is fitted to the linkage and when the hammer reaches the end point and the lever is still actuated, stress is put on the 3PL system and if you leave the stress on for a couple of seconds the tractor gives an even bigger groan and the 3PL starts working correctly. What it seems to me is that one of the valves that is in the 3PL system does not seal properly. Is this at all possible and if so which valve should i be checking as i have dismatled the system a couple of times and cleaned it. But it almost seems as if a valve or something else gets stuck and with the extra pressure on the system it seals tight.
Could someone please help as it is starting to really get annoying.
Thanks in advance.
Shane
