Hate to beat a dead horse (or in this case a dead Fordson), but two folks(Andrew from Aust and fordson29) have said this is a Model N. George H says this is a Model F. Can anyone give me a definitive answer? I realize this is not the best picture, but are the two models that close in appearance? I have no real need to know - I'm just curious about all old tractors.

Jonathan - check your e-mail. BTW, I'm looking to stea....er, buy a good Farmall A or Super A. Do you know of any for sale? Most around here go for $2000 and up. I know that's a reasonable price, but I was looking for something a little cheaper which might not be so shiny and clean.

Thanks, Andrew and fordson29! I may just drive down to see the man whose property the tractor is on next time I'm at the farm and see if he would like it towed off. I might not even charge him too much to tow it off for him!! If it can't be fixed reasonably, I could always paint it up and use it for lawn art down where my lane comes up from the road. Thanks again for your help.

A model F don't have the lines running up and down the front top of the radiator were fordson is wrote. Also the F didn't have fordson wrote down the sides of the radiator. Also a F had a rectangular water washer not a round one. And also a F would have a coil box mounted on this side of the engine. Now it does look like it's got some F wheels that were cut down front a set of steel wheels. And the front end support were the hand crank goes in is a N they are indented in farther on a F. I agree. Definitely an N.Looks like they ditched the old cast front wheels and cut down some F wheels to weld rims on for tyres. What about you doing something with it? If you've got the interest.
