I have restored a E27N With perkins engine it runs good. I need help solving an oil leak around where the starter motor goes into the bell housing the seal is so bad that it no longer seals I have tried putting silicone around it but this was not successful. Can anyone tell me a solution either how to get a new seal or how to stop oil leaking around the starter motor?

John,
you should be able to obtain a seal from any good bearing shop as they normally sell seals as well. You will need the internal diameter, external diameter and the thickness.
