I have restored a few tractors, but the fordson is a new challenge. I need to know engine spec's, how the clearance is set for the coils, need manuals, values, rings, gaskets and I appreciate any help out there.

Two locations can help you with your needs. Try the Fordson House in Escanaba, Mich or Rosewood Machine in Rosewood, Ohio. As for the coils, keep in mind they are the same as the Ford, Model T. Try Lang's model T parts in Winchendon, Ma for coils, wires & some other misc Fordson parts.(They have a limited Fordson supply but, the prices are decent.)
Once you acquire an offical Fordson parts book, you'll see that it will identify some interchangable parts. Good Luck RLL
