Burrhead I finally got to take my tractor apart today and was going to fix the rear main seal like we talked about. Only it wasn't the rear main seal, it was dry as a bone. It's the seal in the out put shaft of the transmission (the shaft that goes into the clutch) I've never done this before I got my book out and read it, and it sounds a little complicated. If you could would you try and tell me how to do this, and if you have any pictures of this diagram could you send them to me at my email address or if you can't do that send it on this Fordson webb page. I didn't know there was another cappy on this webb page so I'm going to use my cb handle from now on and it is Capbuster. Thanks again for you're easy to understand instructions on the rear main seal. I am still going to take the rear main seal retainers off and put silicone behind them like you said even though they are not leaking at this time. My Daddy always said an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. You take care now.
