Ford Dexta Serial Nos.

Are either of these numbers a correct serial number? How can I find out exactly what model and year this tractor is?

The serial number of a fordson dexta is stamped vertically on de left site( seen from drivers position)of the clutchhouse, near the engine, below the fuel filter.
If you have the number I can tell you year and model.

If you could tell me the model and year, that would be GREAT! I want to start rebuilding it soon. I just finished a Ford 841 and just like those tractors.....

I spent some time in Amsterdam recently and really enjoyed the city. I was on my way to Moscow and travelled through Amsterdam both ways and had the opportunity to stay for a while. I really liked the architecture and the cleanliness. Very nice place.....

The numbers you have given is not the one I need.
On the clutchhouse, the left site below the battery, near the inspection hole for the clutch, vertically handstamped, probebly covered with lots of dirt etc. You must cratch and then it must be there!!! Let me now the number starts with 957E..... ..

The tractor is 300 miles from here in a barn. I will have to get my brother to do the serial number search. It will take a couple of weeks, so if you would be patient, I would appreciate it.
