I live in the US and have this tractor that I am still unclear as to it's date. Looks just like a 59 but that can't be or can it? Model # 957E 4024 makes it a 61? The head lights are mounted on the side not in the grill as I have seen in other tractors. In the grill the words, "Live PTO and Live Hydrolic". As for the paint, blue and gray. This should be easy but I am still not sure. Can someone help date this thing please?

The serial you list is 1958. But if one number is missing on the "4024" series it is a 1959.

I have a 1959 with both live PTO and hydraulic.

Thanks WayneB for the information. That being the case, are the colors blue and red. All the pics I have seen on this site indicate so? By the way I should be ready to paint by the end of the month. Any suggestions on paint types?

I am looking to buy this exact model of Fordson with the lights on the side and the exact same seriel number. I went to look at it today, but didn't get to see it run. The owner was away. I took pictures of it and was wondering if you think $3000.00 is a good value. It has brand new tires (4) and was just repainted. I saw no leakes of any sort under it. Has yours been reliable? Thanks.
