I am interested in talking to guys who like
fordson majors and super majors. I recently sold
my super major 5000, but I have a 1961 supermajor
with a hd industrial loader. The block is cracked and I need either a good block or a useable fordson major or supermajor to switch the loader assembly to. I am in Western NY, but interested in anything within hauling distance.

I think Majors are solid, if under appreciated machines and would like one working on our farm again.

I have just bought a fordson super dexta and when I bought it, it had a welded block and if you are good enough and the crack is not to big you could just weld it with a nickel rod. I'm sorry I could not provide you with a tractor but I hope I was able to help. Conor Kraemer

I know a guy who has about 15 Fordson tractors, including two 6-cyl 4WD Super Majors (110 hp on the ground), a 4-cyl 4WD Super Major, a host of regular New Majors and Super Dexta's. Works with them every day!
