I am also interested in the price of an old fordson and waiting for an answer to your question. Very hard to get a response. Does this mean that they are not a very desirable tractor for collecting? Thanks to anyone for responding. rjohn

It's very difficult to pinpoint the value of a early Fordson due to a lot of factors. They were made for 10 years, 1918-1928. Many tractors are not complete with the correct manifold, engine or fenders. Some are just plain wore out or have been sitting outside for too long.
A fordson is not easy to restore, good parts are hard to find and you cannot obtain parts from your local farm dealership or fleet store, you have to hunt for them or get creative. However I get a certian feeling each time I get one running for the first time, it is indeed a accomplishment. As for putting a value on a tractor you almost have to have detailed pictures to get close. I have seen Fordsons sell for 250.00 to 2500.00, non running!
I generally do not answer "what a tractor is worth" questions, I don't feel comfortable telling someone else what they should pay for a tractor. My advice, check the classified ads on this site, E bay and swap meets and you will get a feel for what Fordsons are worth. If you are looking at a tractor that has been sitting outside for 49 years, pass. but if you find a nice barn fresh fordson that is complete, pay a little more.

hope this helps,
ADAM
