Trying to identify year and color scheme for Fordson. No serial number near manifold. Only numbers are the following located on left side of motor...N-6015-A, (next line)O, (next line)Fordson, (next line)X. After stripping down to iron I am almost positive the original color is red?! This is an english Fordson N. Thanks.

Orange english built Fordsons had a tall air cleaner stack on the left side and an oil bath air cleaner, they were made from mid 1937-1939.

This one has a round, water-bath air cleaner, I'm not sure about the air cleaner stack.

For english fordsons with the water air washer, color is blue body with orange wheels. In mid 1937 the switch was made to the oil bath air cleaner and worm gear steering for the row-crop model, color is all orange. Ditzler paint code numbers / blue - DAR10984 orange - DAR60521

for water air washer tractors the air cleaner intake pipe is thru the steering column. hence the breather cover on the upper part of the column.

Thanks Adam, I appreciate your help! I am also looking for a gas tank for the tractor, I have the original but it is in very poor shape. If you come across one that says Dagenham, England on it please let me know! Thanks again.

I don't have a English tank, those are hard to find. one thing you could do is find a good two hole american tank and re-solder the end cap onto the good tank, or try to repair what you have. good luck, ADAM
