I got the clutch in my SD fixed and forgot to tell you.

When I tore it down one of the pivot pins on the pressure plate fingers had slipped out.

I put the pin back in and it's like new again. The clutch and P-P are about 12 years old and were within 10K of new so I reused it.

Now that saved you some money didn't it. Did you do this by your lonesome or did you have some help? I know it's a lot easier if you have somebody to help you, but your an old hand at this and know all the ins and outs. I'm glad it didn't have anything major wrong. Take care.

I had my dear wife and 2 floor jacks. I always just block up the rear and put 2 floor jacks under the front and roll it forwards.

It goes alot quicker since I bought Ma Burr the air rachet for G-ma day. ;^)

Time wise it takes 2 to 2.5 hrs for me if everbody stays out of the way.

Since I had already figgered the money lost on the clutch I went and spent part of it on a dove tail jig, paint gun, and a new drill press.

Tools!! Tools!! Tools!! I think this is where a man's heart is. It's good to have a wimens around, especially when they can operate a air rachet. You better take care of that woman. I'm glad you are getting you some new tools. I got me a bandsaw for Xmas. Took some yellow popular to the mill to have sawed today. It shore is good wood to work with. Take care Burrhead.
