I have recently bought a dexta. Tractor sn from left side clutch housing is 959E86194. Can anyone tell me when it was manufactured. Also if anyone has found any good maintenance manuals, etc. for gasoline powered dexta. Mine only covers diesel.

Carl,

I have never seen a gasoline powered dexta.
A non-diesel version was offered in limited quantities. The engine must be a Standard Vanguard car engine that was borded out to 3.43 inches (8.5 cm).
Your dexta is very rare, be carefull for it.

What is his Vangard engine that you speak of?? Was Vanguard a manufacturer or a specific series of engine??

Carl,

I don't know much of Vanguard engines.
What I do know is that they built engines for Ferguson. I have also found some other information on the internet(see URL)
