I always felt that the best fordson appraiser is a fordson collector. I would be glad to give you my honest opinion of what it is worth, as I myself have 6 fordsons, and my brother, father and grandfather combined have about a 18 more. We've bought everything from running tractors to complete pieces of junk both privately and at auctions. So we've paid quite a variety of prices. I also am the secretary of the North American Fordson, Ford, and Ferguson Collectors Assoc. So I also have access to a network of collectors that can give me an opinion on what a tractor is worth. From your description, I think you are reading off of the exaust manifold, as these letters and numbers do very little to describe the tractor. As it has been said many times "a picture is worth a thousand words", four good pictures of each side of the tractor would be all I would need to identify your tractor and give you a good estimate. Just as a starter here is a basic breakdown of what I feel a fordson is worth here on the east coast. A restored and running complete original tractor is worth about $2000 - $3500 depending on year, options, and overall condition. A non-running complete original tractor with a engine that turns over is worth about $1000 to $1750 depending on year, options, and overall condition. A non-running complete original tractor with a engine that is rusted fast is worth about $300 to $800 depending on year, options, and overall condition. Also, each of these prices can be as much as doubled if it is extremely early tractor, or has certain aftermarket conversions or additions that make it unique. On the down side, a tractor that is missing alot of original parts (or even just a few key parts), or made up of parts from many different years these prices can be as much as cut in half. I hope this helps alittle, and would be glad to be of additional help. -Steve
