About 2 mos. ago I thought I might try and mess around with the timing. I removed the claw bolts and turned the crankshaft pulley. Well now the tractor fails to even start. And I have no idea how far out of whack i have it. I am looking for some help to get it back. Also, the reason I attempted this is because I had found that over a period of time i was loosing power and it just seemed to run bogged down. It used to run very strong. I thought it might be the timing or injectors were dirty. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks, John

this should help..... .remove rocker arm cover and turn engine over by hand.....watch valves at #4 cyl. when exhaust just closes and intake starts to open, then #1 is in position to fire,
now aligne timing marks on crank shaft.should be a notch on the pulley and a stationary pointer to aligne.
now line up mark on pump coupling with stationary mark on pump and instal pump.
after doing this turn engine over a few turns and make sure all marks still line up perfectly.if not ,make necessary correction at the claw bolts on th coupling
