Could someone please tell me the type and quanity of fluid used in the gear box and differential of the dexta tractors? I have not been able to find the level markers that are cast into the tranny housing. Thanks

I work in a New Holland parts department, and by our books, you should use 134 hyd. oil. The 90w is too heavy when it is cold. You can access my dealerships site at www.wctractor.com

David,
the level of oil is determined by level plugs in the side of the gearbox and diff.

Have you looked at Oscar's web page (http://fordson.freeweb.nl/)? It has the owners manuals there and I am sure that will help answer your questions.

Damon

Damon,
Thanks for the link to a very helpful site. I have located the level indicators but still not sure about the type of fluids. Is it just 90w gear oil in the gearbox and differential?

If you live where it is warm or above 35 Degree's F. you can put 90W in her. If you live in a colder region, I would recomend straight 30W. It will do you a good job. I use 30W in everything on mine and it works just fine.
