I bought this 24 fordson that came with this setup"American Bosch Magneto Corp." The engine was seized up so I tore it apart and now that I have restored the engine I can't seem to fiqure out how to get this unit timed wth the engine.I've tried a couple different methods with no success. My question is has anyone had any experience with this unit,If so could you steer me in the right method to get it timed. Thank!! Will

Hi Try this. Remove no 1 spark plug, reconect ignition lead and lay it on the top of the cylinder head so you can see when it sparks. Put your thumb over the No 1 cylinder plug hole.
Turn the engine over on the crank handle.
If timed correctly the plug will spark as the cylinder reaches max compression (as sensed bt the thumb). Adjust the Magneto coupling possition until the correct sequence is achieved.
