Fordson Dexta Petrol
4 cylinder gasoline
Serial number 09c911436 manufactured in England 1963
All major castings have 957E7005, T4, 3F8 markings
Engine block is FPL3237F
Valve Head casting number is 275X
Spring information is 7.5 coils
spring coils are made from 1/8" stock
height when in keepers in fully up position but compressed to specs is 1 3/8"
diameter of spring is 1 7/16"

I need valve springs, rocker arm tappets and four pushrods and an upper head gasket kit.
If you can cross this to any other manufacturer or lead me to another source I would appreciate the help. I understand from other sources that this is similar to a TEA20 massey Ferguson? Thanks again.

John,
the engine, from my understanding is the same as the 4 cylinder petrol MF35 with Standard 87 mm cylinder bore. Using the Bare-co catolgue the part numbers are the same for valve springs and head gaskets.

The Bare-co website is>Link

MF>Link dealers may also be able to help.

I was able to get engine parts from Old Twenty parts co. (U.K.). I had to have the parts shipped to the U.S. but it was worth the wait. I didn't know about bare-co, but I intend to check them for future parts also. Several manuals specific to the petrol (gas) dexta are available from Ford-New Holland N.A., I posted the address on Oscar's Fordson Pages
