All, I posted a message months ago about my oil bath air cleaner and got some excellent info (thanks, Jim). Anyway, the time has come where I have GOT to get this thing replace. I've been told by local parts shops that the part is obsolete and cannot be ordered. So... I hear that this air cleaner was used on other models so I guess I'll try to retro-fit one on my Dexta. However, I need something WITH the throttle linkage mount on the canister. What can I use??? Thanks!!!

Yes, that's my question. I need to replace it with one, but I can't seem to find an original Dexta part. I need something that might take it's place but it has to have the throttle linkage mount on the canister.

Is yours an early pneumatic governor type? My 62 Super Dexta and 63 Dexta Petrol have nothing attached to the air cleaner.

A mf 35 has a lot of the same parts as a dexta. The throttle linage is different. But I just drilled two holes on the bracket and swapped it. Was really no big deal.

Ok. I'll take a look at a MF35 air cleaner. Looks like i'm just gonna have to rig up what I need for the throttle on my new retro-fitted air cleaner. Thanks for the assistance !!
