The serial# is 957E 7005 can anyone tell me what
year it is and if it is a dexta. It is a 3 cylinder desil and a 3 speed with a HI and LO gear stick

My dexta recently restored is 957E 22899.When I tried to date it the build time seemed to be late 1958 or early 1959 I recall only vaguely that about 15,000 were built over that period. Your machine would probably be late 1957.

The number you have is a casting number. The serial number is stamped onto the flange between the clutch bellhousing and the engine on the left handside.It runs vertically. You may have to clean years of paint & grime off to find it, but it's there.

i found the serial number it is 957E93285 I would like to know the year it was made and what size of tractor it is compareto in horse power
is it the same as the 600 or 800

I found the serial # on the trans on the side that the starter is on.
