Whats the "smallest" tractor available today with 4 wheel drive? Most all the compacts have 4wd std. or available, I'm wondering if any of these drop into the lawn & garden tractor size range. I've noticed that some of the larger commercial front-deck mowers have it available also. Thanks for your comments!

Honda made a small 4wd gasoline fueled tractor called the RT5000 in the late 80's. Upuntil '99 it was called the H5013. It was a 10hp as the RT5000 and then updated to 13hp (a small bore change) for the H5013. It had a "big brother" called the H5518 also that was an 18hp model; basically the same tractor otherwise. I own a RT5000 model. 4wd w/ 4wheel steering too! It has front and rear PTOs, hydro. front lift and 3 pt. (cat. '0') hitch in the rear. Several attachments were/are available including mowers, snowplow and blower, tiller, rotary sweeper, etc... This is one NICE machine. All steel fenders and body parts. There is a pic of mine in the photos gallery link (see the list to the left). Unfortunatly, I hear that Honda has disconinued the 4wd option on the 2000 models.

I am looking for 3 of the snowblowers that fit these tractors; they went by 2 model numbers. Either SB752A or SB800A. I am also looking for 3 tillers for these tractors. They went by model number TL5040. New or used. Top dollar paid. Please email me at fmotorworks@hvc.rr.com or call me at 845-344-5511. Thanks.

Steve,
I have an H5013 with the mower, blower and a small utility trailer. I agree, it's a nice machine. I am moving and no longer need this much machine. You seem knowledgeable and I was wondering if you had any idea what it might be worth. It's all in very good condition. Seems like I paid around $8,000 if I remember correctly.
Thanks.

Ed, Check out your local Kubota dealer. Some of the little Kubotas are L&G size. I have a 17hp, 4wd compact and love it!

Ed,
Do you want a tractor type or just something for mowing, such as a front deck? I included some addresses of pics of a tractor that is 4 wheel drive, I am not sure, but I think it is home built or changed. I don't think it is for sale, though! I also included link of club they were found on, you could ask around on that club if there's anything such as you're looking for. Good luck, Eric
