anyone having knowledge of using garden tractors of these type and thier implements for actual garden or small scale farming use please email me or list any links to info, pass along any implements for sale etc. I am about to start small scale organic farming and happen to already own four small Ford YT and GT tractors in great shape. Have been reading that these should be able to handle the job. Cultivation is my biggest concern. Thanks in Advance

Hi John: I have had a Ford LGT145 for over 10 years. I got it used with a 50" mower deck and a roto-tiller. The PTO driven tiller works well in ground that is already broken, but it is too light to break through really hard surfaces or turf. It's slow, but it gets the job done, especially on smaller plots or in tight places. Your local New Holland dealer should be able to tell you what implements were made and are still available for your Ford LGT's. Most Ford LGT's were made by Jacobsen. For additional info and potential sources for re-sale implements, try Yahoo's internet Jacobsen Garden Tractor Club. Good Luck. Pete.

Searched the internet using Google, searched for "what is BENTONITE GREASE".
