Just putting together an old forn 14hp lawn tractor with belt driven hydrastatic drive. Engine is sideways mounted 14hp Kohler. I do not know the model number. Stator is putting out 30+ VAC but do not know correct combination of wiring to regulator. When I purchased it, two black wires from stator were hooked to outside connectors and yellow wire hooked to center connector and
ammeter. I do not seem to be getting any VDC out of the regulator and suspect it is wired wrong. Does anybody happen to know the correct wiring
combination and also what the model numer of this tractor would be?

Thanks, Tim

I have had this problem before,I go over to my cousins house and he gets out the torches and heats the rim on the(inside)axle side red hot & then cool it off with water, this breaks the rust free. Some times this might take a few heatings, and turning the rim on the shaft(hitting the rim on the inside with a hammer)So far this works all the time. After just repaint the inside of the rim.
