My husband got an old RotoHoe 990-5 and we would like to know where to oil the gears. It is gear and chain driven. Also what type of oil to use.

We just picked up a used Roto-Hoe tiller and looked up the company and found no such place, then saw your inquiry. Have you gotton any other
information about them since last June? There is a wire or two disconnected, and it won't fire up.
Would like to get it going for my little garden.

Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.
I live in Indiana.

They are out of business. Another company picked them up and that too is out of business. I have the 990-5 with rear tiller and snow blower. I still use it and it hasn't given me any trouble. I am aware that some of them have bearing problems. There were several people who manufactured bearing on the side, but their names escapes me.

Just replaced the bearings on my Roto Hoe, the ones on the tiller shaft that spins the tines. Looked everywhere and was referred to Miller Bearings. I contacted them and they were able to supply them on the spot the very next morning. There are two companies with similar names, look for the one with the plural on bearings, Miller Bearings, not Miller Bearing.

I used a friends 990-5 4 seasons rear mounted tiller and it needs new belts. Is there a place to buy the correct belts. Right now it has two different types and both slip.
