I have located one that I may restore. It's made by the Livingston Co., of Tulsa, OK. It has a Briggs&Stratton engine, a snow or dirt blade, and a harrow on it. Many parts are cast aluminum. Chain drive steering. Cast steel rear wheels like
a real tractor (about 2-ft diameter). Everything bolts onto a central, rectangular steel tube down the middle. Centifugal clutch and a shift lever behind the seat. Pulleys & belts. It's like a tractor go-kart. Anybody seen one before?

I just found this site today and have posted a request for info on a LIVY. I have one and would like info on it. I know of one other in OK and one in the Iowa area. Mine has yellow wheels and the rest is blue. Most of the machine is aluminum. Any info or pictures of yours would be welcomed. I do know they were built from 49-52 from some old sales mag. I have.

Wow, didn't think I was going to get a response on that. It isn't mine yet, I'm thinking about buying it, but short on cash. Yellow & blue, check. Frame is steel, though. The cast aluminum parts are bolted on to it. I won't have any pictures unless someone loans me a digital camera. Is yours a "T-60"? Does it have a blade? Maybe they made more than one model. What does the old sales mag present it as? Do these things have any collector value, restored or otherwise?

Where do you live, I would sure like to see this machine, mostly to see how the attachments are hooked to the 2" pipe tool bar. I would be willing to pay for some pictures if you could get me some. I live in Cushing, Okla. are you anywhere near?

I'm out in Boulder County, Colo. I'll try to get you a picture or a sketch. May take a while but hang in there. (no charge, keep your money. The gov't will always be there to suck you dry. We're TRACTOR guys!)

There are some other LIVY owners on this web. Go to Yt garden tractor Forum and put LIVY in the search for and it will bring up some other notes in regards to LIVY. Maybe we can get something going between us all.

I have a livy tractor, or at least the frame, differential, steering, and seat. It's been a while since you guys were posting. Did you ever find any pictures? I would like to know what the thing looked like. I live near Tecumseh, Oklahoma. If the gentleman who lives in Cushing would allow it, I would like to take some pictures of his Livy.
