I'm looking to buy a small lawn tractor for around my house, which has a lot of hills. Does anyone have a suggestion for a small lawn tractor with 4wd? (Note I already have a larger tractor but it is too big for around the house).
thanks!
bill

How about a Honda RT5000, H5013, or H5518. Honda has stopped production of all, but they're still out there for sale. I own a RT5000 and the 4wd is pretty robust. A very well built line of tractors, if only they were still available new...

I am looking for 3 of the snowblowers that fit these tractors; they went by 2 model numbers. Either SB752A or SB800A. I am also looking for 3 tillers for these tractors. They went by model number TL5040. New or used. Top dollar paid. Please email me at fmotorworks@hvc.rr.com or call me at 845-344-5511. Thanks.

Found this link while searching for information on the Honda RT5000. Found one locally, have not seen it yet. Would like as much information about it as possible before potential purchase. Aside from Honda's great reliability, are there any issues, items that I should concern myself with when entertaining ownership of this tractor. Do you know of any accessories that were available for it. Plow, cart, etc. Thank in advance.

It is possible to come up with a date for the engine from the serial #. Then, figure that the tractor was probably made that year, or the next. Find a Monkey Ward catalog from those years, and you should come up with a picture of your tractor.

Check out the Kubota line of subcompacts. The BX series comes in 18 and 21hp diesel models. They run about 10k, but are excellent machines. Go to Link for discussions on compact tractors.

Have you thought about a Kubota GF1800? Its a G1900 turn around to run like a front mower and has four wheel drive. Can be had with a 60" mower if you want to go that large. I used to have fun testing those little units. They really sip the fuel, if you don't mind using diesel.
