I have a sears 12hp tractor that won`t start. I was cutting on a hill when i ran the tractor until it was out of gas, it was running hot anyway . so I filled it up and it wounldn`t start. I removed the spark plug, reconnected the wire.I`m getting spark when I crank the engine.I tried a little starting fuild still no start. theres a bolt under the carb. and gas came flooding out. I know theres a safety switch under the seat but I don`t know how to check if its bad. I can`t think what it can be. any suggest?Murphys law strikes again!Whatever can go wrong will,at the worst possible time.

disconnect kill wires and strip them a little bit then put them together w/ a wire connecter. It should work.. Or check your fuses....it could be them

We also have 2 lawn lions and cannot find out who made them or where to get parts for them. They have a bed on the back of them with a drop down tail gate. I would greatly appreciate any information on them or where to look. Thank you Linda

Sounds like you might have picked up a bit of crud from the bottem of the tank when it went dry. Some thing could be plugging the carb.
