A friend of mine is cleaning up an Empire Garden Tractor, made in Windsor, Ontario, Canada (serial #300622). It sports a B&S Model B engine. If anyone has any leads on information regarding this gem, it would be much appreciated.

I also have two Empire walk behind tractors.I have only seen two in my life, and own them both. My Dad bought the first one, second hand, back in 1968. We used to work our garden with this. These things were real work horses. She had a full set of implements[disc, plow, culivater teeth,etc.].There was even a sickle bar available. If you could keep traction on the tires, there was no way to keep them from turning. The second one, I bought off an old horse trader down the street. This one has a bent axle, and was purchased for parts, or whatever. I have an owners manuel somewhere.I would still like any additional info on collectors etc. Thanks, Brian W.

Hi there , I have a Empire T106 , and I am working on restoring it back to its original condition . It used to belong to my fathers uncle Case , after he died it sat in the barn for about 20 yrs until I got it . Mine has 16" rubber tires and a model "B" Engine which was made in 1939 according to a Service Rep on the Briggs & Straton web-site. My restoration is going well some of the parts I have made .I was very fortunate to find a ahmish gentleman who made me a new set of handles out of ash , but I am still working on the rest. Do you have any pictures of you Empires I would love to see them , these machines are very rare , especially if in working order. Thanx
