I have a 66 economy that has lost traction and brakes in one rear wheel. I haven't torn into it yet, any thoughts on what I'm looking for?
Thanks in advance.

Go into the yahoo clubs and type in Power King. There is a club there that has some very knowledgable members. They will be able to help you out.

I would look at the reduction gear in the drop box for the side that lost drive , they are made of cast iron , seen them strip teeth of many times

Maybe it's something in the differential? I have n't had that problem so I don't know. Go to tractor barn.com and look for a link to Greggs PowerKing(economy) and it will tell you all about these little tractors. I haven't been there for a while and they don't have a disscussion forum but you could E-Mail your question to somebodY. I have a 52' model 14 horse. Great little tractor. Good Luck.
