How long can a person survive in a grain silo? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Don't understand your problem. Quaker Oats made a hotel out of silos and people stay there all the time.

there are a few things to consider here, but generally speaking, if a person were to get buried in grain or silage, it wouldn't take long at all.
Once his oxygen is cut off, I believe its only a matter of minutes. If he is only partially burried, and his air supply is good, He could live for hour and ever survive the expierance. Some of the considerations here are his air supply and weight, meaning, the weight of the material pressing against him, If he is up to his neck, a consideration is the material pressing against his chest, enough pressure will restrict the room for his chest to move, thus forcing him to stop breathing. if he becomes trapped while the material is being blown into the silo the air supply is much less than if not. And if you think any of these situations are easy to get out of, think again. Basically, you shouldn't be is a silo while it is being filled.
