My father has a Cub Cadet LM. It seems that the shaft that holds the main pulley on the mower deck is defective. It does not have a nut or anything on top of the shaft to hold the pulley on. Every time he usese the mower the pulley comes off. Can you tell me what the part number is for this and if there should be a nut or something on top of the pulley. It seems we can't find anyone in the general area that has any knowledge about this?

The main pully on the 102 mower deck is held in place by a special fine thread bolt. The bolt is special as it has a hole down the center and a grease zerk is fitted to the bolt head, this inables you to grease the spindal bearings. The part/bolt is still available at any IH/Case dealer . Good luck if you need any more info email me...I have 3 of these suckers
