I saw a 222 Case for sale with the old style(155) controls and dash. Would this be possible, or did I just see 222 decals on a 155 tractor? Also what is the best place to buy seats (seat pads) for the case lawn tractors?

What you saw was an early one prior to about 1971. My 1971 444 has the later style dash but the owners manual shows a tractor that looks like a 195 with a 444 hood on it. Also I believe that the fenders and seats were different on the early tractors.

Tim, Can't answer the 1st part of your question. But I got a replacement seat at the Ingersoll dealer about 2 years ago for my 222. It was expensive, about $65.00. It's already split.
