Are there any attachments that can be used in the garden, or is the 10HP Kohler too small for the job?

Also, would I need to replace my turf tires with ones with more traction?

Mark

your 210 should have plenty of power I've pulled a plow with my 110 ans my 216 without being able to see any real power advantage.you will kneed a lift assist spring if you have the manual lift.check in the owners manual i think they show the hitch and some optional attachments.if you can weld it's not to difficult to fabficate your own hitch. ag tires are very nice or maybe tire chains if you want. wheel weights are a must.J.D. made a tiller that attaches to the rear of the tractor. check your local tractor supply or your equavalant for attachments you may like, also sears has some atachments if you ask and they care to show you

David has a point...You might look for a tiller. It is kind of "one pass" tillage tool. Except for breaking sod (which it can do..but it's tough), it takes the place of a plow, a disc, and a harrow... and it mounts directly to the tractor without the added requirement of the integral hitch to attach those Brinly sleeve hitch implements. Not saying you won't want to get that other stuff anyway :-), but I highly recommend a tiller as the first thing to look at in terms a tillage implement.

I use the plow to flip the sod and get the ground broke up initially, then afer letting it sit a day or so, I go over it all with the tiller until I like the end result.

Plowing first is a little less rough and tough on the tiller and tractor I think. Also gives me a chance to find any large rocks and remove them.

I would think there should be at least a roto-tiller that was offered for it. Also, probably a 1 bottom plow,

www.brinly.com also makes a lot of attachments for garden tractors. They made the 1 bottom plow I have for my 12hp Bolens. They also have box scrapers, disks, and other stuff.

I saw the web site for Brinkly, but I am unable to locate a sleeve hitch. Most of their attatchments require one.

Also, I did not know if my 10 HP tractor was strong enough. No sense in paying for hitches and implements that I can't use without spending money on a bigger engine.

Mark - your 10 hp Kohler has plenty of grunt for graden duty. THe 210 is also a heavy tractor that is designed to get that hp to the ground. You will need some sort of a Brinly sleeve hitch adapter to attach the ground engaging implments. John Deere called theirs an "Integral Hitch"... I think the unit that fits the closed frame 300's will also fit your 200, but with different lift linkage. YOu can probably count on need in some sort of lift assist...those tools are heavy!
