I've got a Ford LT11 riding mower...would anyone out there know what year this was made? It doesn't have the original 11hp B&S engine in it. The deck on it is in poor shape and I was wondering if anyone knew of a deck that can replace it since it has some age to it.

These were made from 1984-1986 or 1987.

My LT11 was made in 79...it had a 3-blade, rear discharge deck(1 small blade in the middle, up front...2 larger ones on the outside edges)..my deck was also in bad shape....I found a replacement...brand-new at a place called Glen's Surplus in Shelby, Ohio.....they charged me $99.95 and included all deck belts and a main drive belt....the deck was "NOT" a "FORD" deck, it was a GIBSON....it used only 2 blades and was still rear discharge. It required "NO" modifications at all...went together just like the old deck.

I too am looking for another LT11 for parts...I need seat, front axle, and a transaxle...mine is hydrostat.

Do yourself a favor....after going through about 6 briggs motors ranging in size from 11-12.5 HP...I finally found a Kohler 12.5 hp....it required a custom exaust manifold which I fabricated from a black plumbing street 90 and a peice of steel. and some pipe nipples....this engine has been absolutly trouble free for 4 years....the most I ever got out of a briggs was 2...leaking oil, smoking, etc. this kohler doesn't leak a drop, doesn't burn a drop and runs this mower better than when it was new.

Let me know if anyone has parts or another tractor for sale....I love this mower!

Thanks,
Terry
