I have a jd316 that I bought new in '87. My? is what's the differences. Mine has a hyd. lift for mower and aux.on front, and can a sleave hitch be found for it fairly cheap, like me Tks. Nat

If you find the right sucker. John Deere paint is expensive. No, John Deere makes one of the best products out there. Plus, a parts availability that's second to none. Although like mentioned initial buy in is a hefty one.

As for as a Sleeve Hitch yea, but for a good deal you have to keep you eyes open. Also know what you’re looking for i.e.. what it looks like, know the part numbers, exchange ability across the 300 series line. If you find a rusty one at a swap meet, you can paint it cheaper that anyone else can. This should help. If you want one tomorrow go to the dealership, but have you wallet loaded and open .
