will the rear pto for my 33 tiller on my 1970 140 h-3 fit a 1970 120? Are the hydros the same? i am wanting to put a 3- point on my 140 so rear pto has to be removed. Just wondered i know the 3-point will not fit the 120 because no rear hyd. option and no notch on back of fender deck.

all help will be app.

Hi Mark. If your 140 is a 1970 (you can use the link below to check the serial number on my tech pages), then no. The 1968 - 1970 140's used a different hydro than the later 140's, 120, 300, 312, 314, 316 Kohler & 317 tractors (which all used a common hydro). Another quick check would be the type of brakes you have. If you have disk brakes, then it is the older style hydro (the newer tractors used drum brakes). If you were creative, you could put a 3pt on a 120, by changing the fender deck to one off of a 140 that has the rear notch & the holes for the couplers. The hyd. line plumbing wouldn't be a problem, just T into the lines going to the front coupler/rockshaft cylinder. Anyway, I hope this helps.
