Can anyone help me. As a young boy born in the late fifties, my grandfather had what I believed was a Case walk behind garden tractor. It had a 10 horse Kohler engine. The hood of the tractor resembled a top on a covered wagon and was blue, while the wheels were red along with the handle bars. To turn left or right, one had to throw a lever to disengage one wheel or another. It had reverse and was started by wrapping a rope around the crank.

Can anyone give some more info on this tractor or maybe direct me to a source? I would like to find one to buy either restored or unrestored

Thankyou, Tony Perkins

Sounds like a Bolens, never ran across a Case like that. Most Case tractors were if the bigger variety of 18hp or above until Case bought out Colt garden tractors.
