I would like to keep the mower but upgrade to 14 or 16 hp. It has a 10hp K thats probably shot but might take a rebuild. I know this is remote but could I chg to ingersoll mower replacement Engine Any Ideas would be appreciated. I really like the way the Tractor handles cutting two ac. of grass.

That depends which engine you speak of. If you're talking about the Onan series, I think it should be a simple cut over except you may want a larger heat exchanger. If I remember correctly the main difference between the 220-446 is the motor mount, but with the 448 you get a larger heat exchanger and a hood scoop that would let heat out. The pto clutch was the same on all of them, but you would need to change the left mower hanger for the 446 and 448 had a slight bend in them for clearance. All of this is assuming that your unit has the hydraulic reservoir just in front of the dash and not above the heat exchanger. If yours has the front mounted tank, then I wouldn't advise it due to the smaller oil capacity which could run to hot. Hope this helps.
