The one nearest the travel spool. Have you replaced the Hydraulic oil lately? I've found that the oil breaks down after a year and once changed, pressures go right back up, along with flow. Pressure should be set at 2250 psi.

Is type 32 the fluid you are using? If so get it out. If you can't find 20w40 motor oil, use 15w40. I have had good luck with Shell Rotella T 15w40.

Thanks,I don't know what is in the tank but it looks like hydraulic fluid. The uk equivalent of Rotella T seems to be Shell Tellus T 100. Is it the same? How much do I need?

I do not know if it is the same or not, but if it is a high quality 15w40 motor oil, you should be good. As for how much oil it takes? My 444 with remote hydro pto takes about 12 Qts. The 648 is a little more complex, so I would guess about 12/15 qts. Most of the cases should have the fluid about 5, to 6 inches below the top of the tank. Good luck.

Good thinking Max, but what is the travel spool? I am unable to get any information on the machine in the UK.

On the control valve located underneath the floorboard you see a two spool valve. The one on the left side (input) is the travel spool that controls the direction and speed of travel, the spool to the right (pwr beyond side) is the attachment lift spool set up for lifting the mower deck and operating the three point hitch. Hope this helps explain it a little more. Those control valves differ from the 200 and 400 series in that it also has a power beyond fitting for directing flow on to the loader and backhoe.
