Runs fine. Sears/Craftsman (likely B&S) engine.

Need clutch lining and lining retaining ring. Vertical shaft drive with tine worm. Easily accessible by pulling engine from frame (10 mins). Reverse belt would also be nice, but not essential. Possibly/likely an Atlas clutch but can't find company info.

Model No. 785.295060

Sears no longer has parts. Other internet parts houses have no parts. Probably need junker for parts.

Any help out there?

Thanks,

/s/ Kevin

if you still have some lining present you can add a washer on the ned of the crank to shim the two clutch parts closer together..i had a new lining glued on at a clutch rebuild place once..lucas

I have a Sears 4 hp Roto-spader #785.298340. I need parts too or I"ll sell it. I can"t find any info on it and would greatly appreciate it if someone had a picture or manual o0f this or a similar model so I can get it going. It runs good but is missing a few parts.

I"m in San Diego

Lucas,

Thanks. Gluing is an option with some of the newer epoxies available. I do have two large pieces of lining left. I'll try that as a last resort.

Any idea if any other models of tillers or driven equipment use conically shaped clutches with pads or linings (lining is about 1" tall; 1/8-3/16" thick; nearly full circle)?
