73 cub cadet dies when it gets warm

after mowing for 20 minutes or so the engine dies,it will start right back up and run for 5-10 seconds. thanks for any help

Check your fuel cap to see if the vent in the top is plugged. you may be creating a slight vacuum as you consume fuel, if there is no way to vent the tank. this prevents fuel from reaching your carb. had this problem on my rototiller. would start right back up & die again.

I am currently having the same problem with my K321. It will run 20 mins and shutdown. Restart when cool.

One of the tech. guys over at the Perr site. Said it may be a leaking head gasket that is causing the exhaust valve to overheat and stick. After cooling it will free up....Art
