how can i make a dual wheeled garden tractor?

If you can get a pair of front wheel weights from a Farmall A or C they will fit just inside the very outer rim and then run the bolts thru both wheels and the weight. It holds them tight and adds some extra weight.

Steve, I like your idea even better; I may get lucky and find a set of those weights someday or something similar.

One of the neatest setups I ever saw was a piece of band iron about 2-1/2" wide made into a ring that fit just inside the lip on the outermost part of the rims. The guy then ran bolts thru the weight mounting holes and drew the two wheels together.
