I have a ford 100 garden tractor, the mower deck is a 42 inch cut, it is super long about 140 inches in length, if anyone can help me with a size I am having a real hard time finding one to fit, any help would be greatly appreciated thanks John

The last one I bought (6-7 years ago) I got from my then Ford/New Holland dealer. The part number was JAC328967 and it cost me about $42. The JAC comes from the fact that these tractors were manufactured by Jacobsen. A Jacobsen dealer may have the belt as well. A friend of mine bought a belt more recently from the New Holland dealer (Ford is out of the picture now) and the part number was 86514511 (FIN6514511) but I don't know how much he had to pay for it. My belt is still in good shape after all these years and I mow about 1-1/2 acres every 1 to 2 weeks. The key to long belt life is making sure all the pulleys and idlers are aligned properly and all of the complicated sliding mechanism is working freely. The belt and pulleys should turn freely by hand in both the raised and lowered position.

John, I don't have an operator's manual for the deck, but I do have a parts breakdown. Send me an e-mail with your "snail-mail" address and I'll send you a photocopy. Brian G.
