My new DLT 2000 owner's manual makes no mention of the greasable mandrels on this machine. Any Craftsman techno-guys out there who know the service interval, amount and grease type? I'd like to know there's enough (I like to take good care of my equipment) but don't want to blow a seal out by pumping in too much. The tractor, BTW is terrific! Smooth, reasonably quiet, powerful and does a manicured cut. The two-pedal system takes some getting used to . . .

If the manual does not make any mention of fittings on mandrels, you might want to give a visual look and see if they are there. Lot of craftsman have sealed bearings.Last mower I had, I removed the inner bearing seals and then installed fittings in housing of mandrel. Greased X3 a year. Any excess grease will just come out around the shaft.
