It is a really need unit to the collector crowd but they are big enough that many of the folks that would be interested would not want to pay the shipping. I have one version in my chainsaw museum and have been looking for others. Ebay is likely the best place to sell it but you risk getting a low price if the right people, and there are not many of them, don't see it.

I recently inherited 2 old chainsaws; a Homelite 770G and a McCulloch 4-30. Anyone know anything about them and what they are worth?
Thanks, Pat

I have three of them. They're really aren't that rare. One of mine came with the original paperwork and I gave $50 for it. The other two I have I gave $15 a piece for them. None of them would run when I got them. There are two for sale on eBay right now.

Hi,

I have an old Poulan model # KD100 in good running condition! What year would it have been manufactured? Estimated value?

Thanks, Jim

Your Poulan KD 100 was made in 1959. It is not "Rare" but is a model that was built in fewer numbers than some. I have seen them sell for $100 to $200 in pretty nice shape recently.

It's not a chain saw, it's a reciprocating saw. Try this guy: ajohnson@dove.net.au
