Alex,

Like A.W. said a Q42A is the model for yours but it is not a two stage blower its a single stage. I found that older MTD made machines have a two stage that "bolts" right up to the old IH models. I have both and I know that the 42A works well. I plan on trying the "new" two stage this winter. The problem is that the new blowers lift is different and does not work on the old machines. I need to see a diagram or I'll need to fabricate a lift rod. Hope this helps.

Jon

Try a QA42(A), Jim S. will correct me if I'm wrong. IH built Snow THROWER. bolts to the front of the tractor. I don't have one myself but they seem to work pretty good. As far as Snow Blowers someone might have made an aftermarket one, but I have never heard of one. Oh one more thing, the second A means it will adapt to a wideframe like your 1250. a QA42 no (A) will only work with the earlier model 100-147 tractors. Good Luck A.W.Gonya
