Just bought a 2 wheeled garden tractor with a
small Clinton engine. To engage drive you move a wooden lever and engine slides on two rods. It
has cover over belts(double belt) and it is orange. Tractor came with adjustable disc, plow,
and drag harrow. No ID tag. It has a drop down
gear housing on one side. How can I tell what
I have? Implements mount different than David Bradley.

It may be a Garden Way (Garden Aid??). These tractors were built in Troy & Horseheads N.Y. They are orange with a cast aluminum drop down gear case on the left side. Engine slides on two rods as you describe.

Hi Larry, Could be a bready they are orange an may be what you describe. The smaller ones used the clinton engines. Mine is a model A with a 9 hp wisconsin engine. There is a picture of it in the help identify section on the left. It will be quicker to search for it rather than page through the pictures.

This fellow has an old bready. Search his site. I have not found very many people with these.

If you would like e mail me direct and I'll send you some pics and what I have found so far.
